Statement:
Birmingham based jeweller Naomi Sheppard is an exciting new designer that specialises in making beautiful pieces of art that can be enjoyed by both the wearer and the viewer. Naomi’s work is a mixture of fashion and fantasy, her designs are simple and elegant, yet emanate her quirky, opulent style.
All of Naomi’s work is hand made in her studio workshop right in the heart of Birmingham’s thriving Jewellery Quarter. She works with precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones and uses a combination of traditional and contemporary jewellery techniques. The use of cold metal joining allows the notion of movement to feature heavily in a lot of Naomi’s work, so she can prodcue stunning pieces of jewellery that have an element of fun and tactility.
Her confident designs and innovative style are inspired by the whimiscal world of the fairytale and clearly define Naomi as a designer for the modern times.
